Postponed Indefinitely

Encanto Palmcroft Neighborhood Postpones 2021 Encanto Music Fest Indefinitely

As COVID-19 restrictions are still in place for events on City of Phoenix property, our event organizers have made the difficult decision to postpone the inaugural Encanto Music Fest indefinitely. This is obviously not the outcome we had hoped for, but our number one priority is working with the city and the state to help return to a time where we can freely host these types of events without restriction.

The Encanto Palmcroft Historic Preservation Association (EPHPA), the National Endowment of the Arts, the city of Phoenix Arts and Culture Department and Encanto Park planned to present the 2021 Encanto Music Fest at Encanto Park. The inaugural festival was set to include a variety of music acts, food, bars and hosted VIP Cabana experiences. A portion of proceeds set to benefit the Friends of Encanto Park.

Brent Kleinman, the committee chairperson for the Encanto Music Fest, said the COVID-19 related dynamics of hosting a large groups of people on city property has prevented the EPHPA from being able to secure the necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner that would allow the music fest to continue.

As a neighborhood, we were looking forward to showcasing Encanto Park and all that it has to offer to the city. However, the restrictions still in place to protect our residents preclude us from moving forward.

We hope that 2022 offers us the opportunity to launch this music fest for the community. We want to thank all of the vendors, local musical acts, sponsors, volunteers that helped us create the framework for this one-of-a-kind event.
